Katrina Pierce '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katrina Pierce and I’m currently in my senior year at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, New York.  I’m very interested in attending college to pursue a degree in Psychology in addition to playing softball after I graduate in 2021.

I started playing Softball consistently since I was 6 and am currently the starting shortstop for the Mount Vernon Knights 18u. I usually bat  1st through 3rd in the lineup and will pitch when I am not playing a catcher which is my second position.  I’m well known for my power in hitting and my high quality fielding work as well as my work ethic, leadership, communication skills and overall knowledge of the game. I enjoy contributing to the team as a leader and always do my best to help out my teammates anyway I can.
