Luciana Debois '27 Recruiting Profile

I am undecided on my major but I am leaning toward engineering or something else that is hands on. While I don't know my major yet, I know I want to play softball when I go to college. I love my teammates and I love seeing them succeed as an individual and in their softball careers. Being a good teammate is one of the most important things to me. Being able to fine tune my own skill set and being competitive while still being able to bring others up around me is what I try to do. I am a Sophomore at Port Byron High School and I have gotten mastery on every Regents test I have taken (Earth Science, Living Environment, and Algebra). I'm currently enrolled in CCC Chemistry, on High Honor Roll, and in Honor Society. I try very hard in school and it is challenging sometimes, but I try to have the same motivation in school as I do in softball. My primary position is catcher and my secondary is 3rd. I workout on my own time and have a small gym in my basement for the times i'm too busy to drive to the gym. I take hitting and catching lessons and I love consistently conditioning and practicing every weekend.
