Personal Statement

Hi Coaches!  I have been playing softball all my life.  I started at the tee-ball level and my love for the game has continued to grow!  I was a dancer for many years and have played soccer,  and basketball as well.  I realized when i was about 13 that my true passion was for softball.  My parents have always supported me and my dad was my rec coach, all star coach, and then travel ball coach until i was 15 years old.  I then started playing on an elite 18u team and my dad started coaching my younger sister.  We are a softball family!  I workout 5 days a week and know that my hardwork and dedication to my academics and softball will pay off.  I aspire to play a high level of college softball while pursuing a degree in forensic sciences.  My favorite show is Criminal Minds.  I hope to someday become a forensic scientist in the field.  I am a team player and also pretty versatile.  I love to hit!  I have been very fortunate enough to meet current and former NPF players and Team USA Olympians.  I have learned a great deal from them and i know that my positive attitude and 100% effort will make me an asset to your team!
