Kylie Freeman '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Kylie Freeman and I am a Catcher/Utility graduating in 2022 from Kenmore East High School in Buffalo, NY. Softball has been a big part of my life for many years now and I would love nothing more than to play at the collegiate level. I am looking for a college with good academics and a good softball program. Buffalo has a big part of my heart and I'd like to stay relatively close. I am in the International Baccalaureate program at my school. My grades and studies are very important to me as I have a strong work ethic. With that being said, I'd also like to go to a school with a Chemistry/Biochemistry program. Another thing about me is that I have a big personality and I'm always ready for anything. 

Throughout my years in high school, I have come to be more of a leader than a follower. One of my biggest rules for myself when playing is to not get down on myself because there's always next at bat or next game to do something better. I believe I will be a strong asset to a team because of my leadership and willingness to hype others up. I like to make an impact on people by leading by example. I like to show my leadership skills by being aggressive on the field as well, defensively and offensively.
