My name is Kaitlyn Blue and I have been playing softball since I was four years old. I started playing T-Ball and then I moved into Rec ball and Travel ball. Softball has taught me many lessons and pushes me to strive to be a better person.
I am a left handed pitcher and I started pitching when I was 9. I enjoy pitching and I take every opportunity to get better any chance I get. I am a 2027 graduate and I am going into my Sophomore Year. My academics also have a big role in my life. My GPA is 4.313 and I intend to raise it as I mature. I am ranked 15th out of 371 students. I attend Union Pines High School in Cameron NC. I am also in the club S2S. I will always prioritize my grades on and off the field.
As long as I have played softball I have learned that it’s not about how good you are it’s about how you act on and off the field, as well as your attitude towards yourself and your teammates. I believe that I can grow myself as a person as far as my attitude, my personality, and my skill level.
In conclusion, I am very dedicated to the sport I love and I always strive to be better and practice in every way possible. During the season and the off season I am always striving to get better at pitching, base running, and batting. I was awarded a letter for being on varsity during my freshman season.
