Aileen Roorda '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Aileen Roorda. I am Class of 2024 at Southeast Raleigh Magnet HS. I started playing baseball when I was 4 years old and switched to softball at the age of 10, I played Rec for 2 years then switched to Travel. I play Travel for NLTC Crossfire Premier. I wear jersey number 14 and play 1st base, 3rd base, and Outfield. For school, I play 3rd base and am a Varsity Captain. I am an honors student in school and maintain A's in all classes. I am also a part of the Engineering Academy at Southeast Raleigh Magnet HS. I was dual enrolled with Wake Tech my Junior year and have taken American History 1 and 2 and received A's in both classes. I also participate in a competitive robotics program called FTC (First Tech Challenge) where we design, create, and build robots to compete with. I also joined National Honors Society (NHS) and National Technical Honors Society (NTHS) my Junior year and am currently the Treasurer for NHS and President of NTHS for my Senior Year.
