My name is Elizabeth Finter and I am sixteen years old and a sophomore at Marvin Ridge High School. I have been playing softball since I was eight years old. During my freshman year, I was the starting shortstop on the Queen's Grant High School varsity team, and I am currently on Team NC Kobziak. I am very dedicated and hardworking and my goal is to play softball at the colligate level. Also, being one of the oldest players on my team has taught me a lot about having a good work ethic and leadership. Aside from sports, I also pride myself on my academics. I am very invested in school and I study frequently to ensure that I get good grades. I currently have a 4.35 GPA and I would like to study business and entrepreneurship in college in the hopes of starting my own business. Overall, softball has taught me many different things about myself, and life in general. But most of all, I love the competitiveness of the sport, as well as all of the friendships I have been able to make because of softball.
