Hello, my name is Amanda Adkins. I am in the class of 2024. I am a catcher and also play 1st, 3rd base and outfield. One of my most important accomplishments was, at the age of 15, being accepted to play in Europe for a USA Softball Team. This experience was epic.
I chose softball because of its competitiveness and challenges. I challenge my instincts to be fast and focused. Last season, my High School Coach asked me to start calling pitches to change the momentum of the game.
I believe in a “Team first” mentality. I strive to showcase my teams ability, drive and love for the game.
My college goal is to earn good grades while balancing a successful athletic career. No matter what, I will always strive to put my best foot forward to achieve goals set for both my team and myself.
