Lauren Zimmerman’s '22 Recruiting Profile

     Growing up, my parents always told me “where your focus goes, your energy goes.” I have always driven myself to fulfill this statement. Whether it be on the field, in the dugout,  in the classroom, or in my community,  determination and goal setting is one of the most important factors in my life. I strive to to be apart of something I love, and have a true passion for. I understand that reaching my goals comes with a lot of hard work and time, which I am willing to put in. My part as an athlete, student, and companion , is to be focused, driven, optimistic , and dedicated at all times.

       I have been playing softball for nine years, and hope to play on a travel team for my first time next summer. Also, since the seventh grade, I have ran cross-country,  for now going to be four years. Between playing sports, academics, and maintaining a job, I also take dance classes at the Conneaut arts center. I have been involved with dance for twelve years, and is a loved hobby of mine. 

       Career wise, I want  to major in pediatric care. For me, I would love to work with children in physical therapy in the near future
