As a left-handed pitcher and batter, I've always embraced standing out. Whether I'm on the mound or in the batter's box, I approach every challenge with determination, discipline, and faith. These same principles guide me off the field as well—in the classroom, in my community, and in the fields where I’ve spent countless hours working on my family’s farm.
Growing up in a rural area, agriculture has never been just a career option—it’s been a way of life. Caring for livestock, I’ve learned firsthand the value of hard work, responsibility, and respect for the land. These experiences have inspired me to pursue a degree in the agricultural field, where I hope to combine my hands-on background with innovative research to improve sustainability.
My journey as a student-athlete has taught me the importance of time management, leadership, and perseverance. Being a pitcher requires focus, strategic thinking, and trust in your team—skills that directly translate to success in academics and future career paths. I believe my experiences on the field and in my community uniquely position me to contribute to both the university and its softball program.
Above all, my faith in God is the foundation of everything I do. It keeps me grounded, motivated, and hopeful. I believe that my gifts and passions were given to me for a purpose, and I’m excited to continue growing—athletically, academically, and spiritually—at the collegiate level.
