My name is Lindsey Linker, from Gahanna Lincoln High School, class of 2022. I am a 5'7 " shortstop/utility player with a great combination of defense, hitting and speed. I have a strong desire to continue playing softball at the collegiate level. Since I started playing in second grade, softball has been a huge part of my life. I love playing because I have the opportunity to meet great people and am able to work hard at the sport I love. Over the years, softball has pushed me physically and mentally and has played a big part in shaping me into who I am today. Softball has taught me the importance of not only working hard, but how to work with my team.
Academics are very important to me, and I have always worked hard to have good grades. I am looking for a school that will support me on the field as well as in my studies, and I plan to major in nursing. I am looking for a christian school because my faith is what is most important to me, and I prefer to go to a school that will help me grow academically, as well as spiritually. I also desire to go to a school where my skills can be utilized early in my college career. I am hard working, competitive, and coachable, and I know that I can add value to the team and university!
