2021 Highlights My name is Tillie Nelson and I am a 5' 10" catcher/1st baseman/utility from Lima, Ohio. The game of softball is something that I have loved playing throughout my entire life. I am a 3 sport Varsity athlete and through playing, I have learned the importance and love the idea of team-work, skill acquisition, dedication, perseverance, how to be tough, how to struggle, fail and pick myself back up. As an athlete, I work tirelessly to do my job, whatever is asked, own it, and make others better around me.
My goal is to become a doctor to fulfill my desire to help others and be a changing force for people. Correlatively, academics have always been a huge factor in my life. I am enrolled in college credit colleges and advanced courses while maintaining a 4.28/4.3 GPA and a 32 on my ACT. I strive to find a college that will support me academically as well as athletically. My dedication and hard work in the classroom make me an elite student and that prowess has correlated to the field where I excel at a high level. I am highly competitive in all aspects of life, especially on the field and I will outwork anyone. I am a highly coachable, skilled team player, that is level-headed, goal-oriented, and will undoubtedly add value to your team and university.
