Leah is a great athlete and team player. She is constantly trying to improve her game to be great in both her infield and outfield positions. She is one of my key players in the middle of our defense that I count on to make plays. She runs out to her position every time and constantly makes routine and big plays when the ball is hit near her.
On the offensive side, Leah is an instrumental piece in the 4th spot hitting of our lineup. She consistently drives in runs or starts new rallies by getting on base. She has a good eye at the plate and rarely swings at bad pitches. She is one of the players I want at the plate in key moments, and she has delivered in many big moments. She is very competitive and is looked at as a team leader by both her coaches and teammates. When she is on the bench she can always be heard cheering on her teammates.
Her natural athleticism is always on display and she is great to coach. Takes feedback well and strives to improve on anything her coaches give her. Likes to be challenged and is up to meeting those challenges.
Leah led her club team in hitting with an average of 520. Jeff Imholtz-Phonix Fire Head Coach
