Janet Hoover '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Janet Hoover and I am 16 years old. I have been playing softball since I was 3 years old. Softball and Baseball are very important in my family. My dad and step-mom both played for most of their childhood and teenage years. One goal I have in life is to become very successful, and make my family proud. I strive to be the best in everything I put my mind to. My family is very important to me, and I try to be somebody that my siblings can look up to. 

I am a good all-around softball player. Because I am left handed, my coaches prefer me to not play third or shortstop, but I have experience playing both of them. I am a great team player and enjoy telling very cheesy jokes to make everybody laugh and cheer them up! I am a power hitter, but can do anything my team needs me to do when I am up to bat. Something that makes me different from other candidates is my competitiveness and my outgoing personality! I am very coachable and I am able to learn things very quickly.
