Amanda Stewart '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amanda, and I am 15 years old. I have been playing ball since I was four, in the teeball years. I have been playing fast pitch softball since i was seven. I have played on many travel softball teams, as well as school teams. Last year was my freshman year, and i was the only freshman to make varsity. Also was the first freshman to be a starter for every game. My favorite thing to do is make friendships with my sports teams. I also play volleyball, and basketball but softball is my main focus in college. I play 3rd base, and i have been playing it for years on years. I used to pitch, but 3rd base is just my favorite position on the field. My team calls me a leader, and something they remember me as is a respectful person. I will always have my teammates backs, and its an incredible feeling when I know they have mine. When a player is getting down on themselves, it its my job to pick them back up. My grades are so important to me, i have never got anything lower than a B. My goals this year is to get straight A's with all of my AP classes. Yes it is going to be a challenge, but it is such an amazing feeling when you get that report card. I have received many academic/sports awards. I want to go to college, and be a physical therapist. I also want to play the sport I love in college, and that is why I am here.
