Jordyn Hanson '13 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Senior at McNary High School in Keizer, OR. I have participated in athletics since I was 3 years old. I have played soccer, basketball, volleyball and softball. Softball is my passion. I have given up all other sports to exclusively focus on my softball. I train hard year around to improve my strength, agility, quickness, pitching, hitting and fielding. My goal is to play college softball and graduate with a degree in Law. I am currently taking honors and AP classes to prepare myself for the rigors of college. I currently have a 3.52 GPA. I was recently nominated by my High School Coaches to be part of the Powered by Girls Leadership Program at McNary High School. I was awarded First Team All League pitcher in the 6A Central Valley Conference in June 2012. I was also awarded Honorable Mention in the Central Valley Conference League in June 2011. In addition, I received the Golden Glove award as well as the Silver Slugger award during my 2011 High School Spring Season. I am a dedicated hard working student and athlete. I look forward to my next level of competition in softball as well as education.
