My name is Megan Bomberger, I am part of the graduating class of 2020 at McMinnville High School in McMinnville, Oregon.
I have held a 3.9 GPA through my first two years of high school. Since my freshman year, I have been an active member in our ASB leadership program, recently winning the school election for the Secretary position on the Executive Board. As a sophomore, I was chosen to help run the biggest fundraiser of the year that raises money for Doernbecher Children's Hospital. My freshman year I was accepted into the Engineering and Aerospace Program. The EASA program allows students to learn in simulations, real projects, and problems. There is a greater influence in math, science, communications, and technology. This is a two to four year program throughout my high school career. This program will give me the opportunity to graduate high school with an associate’s degree. My academic goal for college would be to major in Biology or Pre-Med. I would like to someday become a Doctor or work as a Prosthetics Engineer.
Although academics is very important to me, I also have a desire and passion to pursue softball at the next level. Softball has offered me many opportunities and has connected me with fantastic coaches and players. I am not looking to play at a particular division but to find a softball program that I can help make an impact on and who shares my passion for the game. I am a coachable, hardworking player that is driven to be the best I can be.
