Personal Statement

Sports have always been a huge part of my life. I was a competitive gymnast for 8 years, starting at age 5. Gymnastics taught me focus, determination, coordination, and built strength. I have used my gymnastics experience to excel in Softball. I am a very versatile player on the field with speed, grit and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Outside of Softball and school, I enjoy lifting weights, swimming, and anything competitive.

On the field I am a true utility player, you can put me where you need me and I will crush it. I am fast, deliberate, not afraid to get dirty, and a very coordinated player. I earned the starting shortstop position my freshman year at Tualatin High School and love being a shortstop. On my high school and club team I typically bat anywhere from 2-4. I consistently hit line drives up the middle. I have no problem swinging at the first pitch or going deep in the count, I will get on base.

“Paley’s self-motivation and tenacity has enabled her to become a starter for the TUHS Varsity Softball program. She has great eye-hand coordination, and maintains a focused attitude while staying in the moment to execute the required skill necessary for a successful outcome. Paley pushes herself to constantly improve while being the teammate she would like to have.” – HS Coach

Academically I have been very successful earning a gpa of 3.5 currently. I am interested in pursuing degrees in the Health and Science fields or Criminal Justice. I am a very focused student with a strong work ethic.

"Paley is a dream in the classroom! She works hard, gets her job done, and goes further to understand the lesson.” HS Teacher

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
