Kylee Miller '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kylee Miller. I am 19 years old and I am 6'1"127 lb. I am a Right-handed pitcher And I play first base. I am a member of the graduating class of 2023 at Chambersburg Area Senior High School. When I was a freshmen, my season got cancelled due to COVID. When my sophomore season came around, we went 19-1 for the junior varsity season. That season was truly an incredible experience. This year, as a junior, I am the starting pitcher for high school and travel ball. As high school season is progressing, I am ranked 1st for ERA in 20 innings at 0.64. I pride myself on being a student of the game and a hard worker on and off the field. I train for softball year-round, pitching in travel softball summer tournaments, and  strength; conditioning through summer. The game of softball has put me through a lot of good and bad adversity. I have grown so much as a young adult, it has taught me lessons, and has helped me through life. One of the lessons softball has taught me is, view adversity as a temporary, yet correctable challenge or opportunity. Take every game one game at a time, and enjoy the moment. Sometimes, you just have to try smarter and not always try harder.  As a team, endure the choice of facing adversity together.
