Bailey Cannon '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bailey Cannon and I will be a senior in the fall of 2022 at General Mclane High School. I have played softball since I was 8 years old and have loved the game ever since. I am a hard working and self-motivated player and student. No matter what level I am at, I am always striving to reach the next level. 

Academically, I have taken several accelerated  courses throughout high school and have maintained a 4.0 GPA. I was on the honor roll all four quarters last year. I was also inducted into the National Honor Society this past fall. 

Athletically, I am a RHP for my travel team the Ohio Outlaws. We  compete in tournaments in Cleveland, New Jersey, Indianapolis, and South Carolina. I have been the starting pitcher for  General Mclane High School all three years of high school. As a sophomore and Junior, I was nominated for softball player of the year in my Region. I have also played varsity volleyball and basketball all three years at my high school. 

Of course, I have experienced setbacks. The feeling of losing always motivates me to work harder. My coaches tell me that I show the same calm emotions whether I am winning or losing.
