Kylee Ferguson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Kylee Ferguson, I am an outfielder from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. I would like to play softball at the next level and go to college to study sociology. Growing up, I was always the underdog on my team. However, this has given me the drive to prove myself. I play every single game like it is my last and have often been told I am the loudest in the dugout because I believe every game should be played with a positive attitude.  I am involved with many different school activities (volleyball, drama company, current events team, student council, ect.) and because of this, I have learned excellent time management skills. With these skills, I have managed to become ranked 6th out of 45 in my class. Softball is very important to me but so is life after high school. I plan to study psychology because I enjoy learning about why our minds work the way they do and I am constantly thinking of people's feelings. Because of this, I understand that to have a good softball team you need good team chemistry and also positive attitudes. I will always be the teammate that lifts you up after an error, cheers as loud as I can, and reminds you of what an incredible player you are. Family is also something extremely important to me and because of this, I plan to stay within about 4 hours of my hometown. Playing softball in college is something I hold very dear to me as I want to prove to everyone that I can do it. I have worked so hard over the past 10 years of my life and the work is finally starting to pay off. I push myself every single practice to get better and better so I can continue to grow into a strong player.
