Personal Statement

My name is Sadie Groff and I'm currently 17 years old. My positions include first base and right handed pitcher. I strive not to be the best, but become the best I can. I believe that the motivation from my own passionate drive and everyone around me, will shape me into the best player I can possibly be. Eventually, I want to continue to shape myself as a college softball player in any division. Additionally, I hope to obtain more knowledge about the medical field, pertaining to orthopedics. A future goal of mine is to contain a 4.0 or higher GPA as my high school years continue. An aspiration that I have is to create full hospitality to anyone who needs it. Furthermore, possess fundamental values that will make me better in every area of life. A few include self confidence, perseverance and faith.

You'll never hit it if you don't swing. You'll never catch the ball if you don't dive for it. These leaps of faith are exactly why I feel I would be a strong asset to any team. I promise to always push my hardest and when I miss, do better next time. A characteristic that I acquire is being encouraging to all of my team mates. To me, it's important to pick a teammate up when they're down and celebrate with them when they succeed. Without a constructed positive mindset, a team will never win. It is mandatory to win in the mind first. Likewise, I will be coachable to reach my full potential.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
