Maci Brodzina '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5”5 shortstop from Warriors Mark, PA and a graduate of the class of 2022. I started on the Tyrone Area High School varsity team for the past 2 years. I received 2nd team Mountain League All-Star team my freshman year and 1st team my junior year. I also received District 6 All-Star my junior year. I have been a leader from the start; I have been one of the team captains for my since the beginning of the my varsity career, I push others to do their best, give my all on and off the field, and strive to be the best teammate and player that I can be. To help me be a better softball player, I also played basketball while keeping a 4.0 GPA. 

I’m looking for a college that is close to home and a rural or suburban environment. Going to a farm like setting will help me feel like I’m back at home. I wouldn’t mind how big or small the college is but would like it to be Division 1 or 2 in Pennsylvania. My main priority though is being able to make a big impact on the team immediately. On top of that, I would qualify for financial need. I want to major in Physical Education.
