Personal Statement
I am a multi-sport athlete in the class of 2026 looking to play softball at the next level. I just finished 9th grade at Aynor High School where we are the SC AAA State-Champions! Being from a family of educators, I value education. I have managed to have straight A's my entire school career while playing three sports (JV volleyball, B-team basketball, Varsity softball) and doing travel ball. My favorite sport of the three is softball because it is a challenge and keeps me humble! Softball is so much fun and comes with lots of internal rewards/growth through perseverance. There are a lot of life lessons that I have learned from playing this sport. I've learned that if I don't put in the work, I won't be successful. I know it is cliché, but trophies and accolades aren't earned on game day, they're earned during practice and working when others aren't. I like being a person that makes a difference in someone's life and playing softball has allowed me to be a role model to others. I am different from other recruits because I am self-driven, welcome feedback, and a hard worker on and off the field. I am always wanting to get better. I look forward to you seeing me play and playing at the college level!
