Karley Hand '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karley Hand, I am from Loris SC, and go to Loris High School.

I have played the game of softball since I was 4 and I hope to continue to play for the rest of my life. Softball is the only thing that I have always had to fall back on and it’s the only sport that I have always been 100% passionate about. I always try to be a leader on and off the field and give 110% of my effort, no matter what.

I have been playing on the Varsity team since I was in 7th grade. For my high school team I know I have to lead by example because I have younger kids looking up to me at all times.

I am always that person to push myself and go all out for everything that comes my way. I will sacrifice my body at any second just to save one play. At practice I always just want one more until I am completely satisfied. I want to be the best that I can be and nothing less than that.

As of what I want to do in the future my main goal is to never lose softball. I would love to coach in college if I get the chance, but mainly I want to coach a travel ball team! Right now I want to major in business and minor in marketing, but that could change in the next 2 years.

When it comes to colleges I want to mostly stay in the South East but I am open to absolutely anything. I want to find a college that fits me. As long as I am playing ball I will be happy.
