Khalan Smart '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Khalan Smart.  I am from Pierre, South Dakota. I am a starting catcher, and I also play 3rd and 2nd base.  My collegiate goals are to play college softball while pursuing my degree.  I am a great candidate for a team because I am a great team leader and a great teammate.  I am a hard worker in school and on the ball field. I have a 3.5 GPA, and it has stayed very consistent throughout my years in high school.  I work hard so I can achieve my goals, which are going into social work or psychology after my degree.  I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old. I've always loved this sport and it would be a great opportunity to play in college.  After college, I want to pursue my career in social work and help out with my town's Fall and Summer softball leagues.
