Hi, my name is Taryn Bennett. As a student-athlete, I work hard on and off the field. I strive to make myself and my teammates around me better every day. I believe that whatever I do I must put in 100 % effort that I have for that day. People always say that you should put 110% effort into what you do, but one coach told me that if you do that then that means you weren't giving 100% before that. I am always one of the hardest working kids in the room. I am very coachable. Besides softball, I run track for my high school. And to pursue my dream of becoming an athletic trainer in the future, I am a student trainer for our football team and girls basketball team at O'Gorman High School.
I might not always be the fastest or strongest player on the field, but I always find a way to outdo my competition by my knowledge of the game. I am a very competitive person and I like to win. So I push myself and others around me to perform our best every day. I describe myself as hardworking, competitive, and dedicated to my teammates, friends, and family.
