Summer Winters '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi everyone! I am Summer Joann Winters and I attend Creek Wood High School in Charlotte Tennessee. I will graduate in 2012. I also play travel ball for Easton Synergy which is coached by Jose Garcia. I am in the BETA Club and the National Honors Art Society. I am 5'10" and I weigh 139 pounds. My fastest speed from home to first is 2.91 and home to home is 11.98. My sophomore year I was on the All-District team. I have been playing softball since I was about 5 years old and I have loved every minute of it. I consider myself a leader and team player because I am always picking my teammates up, that's just a part of who I am. Playing ball in college has always been a major dream of mine. Doing so would just prove that all the years of working hard will pay off, and I will keep working hard when I attend college. I would love to go to a school in the south, a big city school or a country side school would be just great. I wold like to attend a division school more than anything but I am open to different types of schools. My family will qualify for some financial aid. My major is Biology, I would love to be a Marine Biologist, but I'm not 100% sure yet. I would like to play as a freshman against a high level of competition.
