Sophie Carroll '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophie Carroll. I’m a 2026 graduate from Christian Academy of Knoxville in Tennessee. It is my dream to continue to play softball at the collegiate level. I have loved the game since elementary school and love the family that the team becomes.

I’m primarily in the middle in-field, but have played third, outfield, and even pitch when needed on my varsity high-school team. I’m passionate about hitting, and willing to put in a lot of work. My coach would probably tell you I’m the last one to leave practice, always. I’m not afraid of working hard on or off the field. 

In the classroom, I’m committed to maintaining at least a 4.0 gpa. I am a member of the National Honors Society, have served my school in the student senate, helped coach the Middle-school softball team, and an active player on the varsity basketball team which made it to the Final 4 in State this season. 

Softball has shaped my life for the better, and I can not imagine my life without it.
