Zia Shtraikh '26 Recruiting Profile

I’m a 2026 grad yr from Austin TX at Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders where they prepare students for college and leadership roles. As a student athlete, academics come first, but I work hard on my sport too. I want to be a mechanical engineer. Starting TBall at 4, I never left the sport-I love softball! I’ve trained to get my bat to find gaps/holes so I can consistently get on base. I am Catcher primary, but being team oriented and coachable, I am comfortable playing anywhere and work to be reliable at bat, so I can help my team however needed. I try to be team-first in everything: softball, study group leader or marching band. I received a Leadership Award as a founder of our HS softball program-JV 2024 and Varsity 2025.
