Personal Statement
Howdy! My name is Addison. As I began my high school career I understand the importance of being a strong academic student athlete. One of my goals for high school is to be in the top 25% of my graduating class. I have already been making strides to get there. In junior high I was in advanced classes and a NJHS member. I have taken advance level classes throughout my 9th and 10th grade years and will continue through 11th and 12th grade. I have also been accepted into the National Honor Society.
I am currently a member of HOSA (Health Occupational Science Association). I have joined this club because of my career interest in becoming a physical therapist.
I began pitching at the age of 10 years old. Since then I have devoted a great deal of time in the cages pitching and developing my fundamentals. My passion for softball has grown through the years and I hope to become a collegiate softball player. Through my years of countless hours of work and dedication I am confident my efforts will pay off.
I have learned to balance my school work while participating in extracurricular activities including basketball and other school organizations. I played volleyball, basketball, and ran track in junior high and played basketball in 9th and 10th grade. As a student athlete, I value the importance to remain humble but still proud; passionate and conscientious of my academics; and encouraging while maintaining focus on my goals.
I look forward to the opportunity of becoming a collegiate softball student athlete in the future!
