Amaya Balencia '24 Recruiting Profile

 I’m Amaya Balencia and I am a 2024 graduate from Goldthwaite High School. Softball has been my love and passion for years now and I want to take my game to the next level. I fell in love with this game after my parents forced me to play  8u and I've never looked back.    It has taught me a hard work ethic,  to be resilient in times of adversity, to be humble and has shown me confidence when I sorely needed it.  This is a game of failure, but it has also shown me success, has pushed me beyond my boundaries and shown me what I was really capable of when I was full of self doubt. It hasn't been easy, but this game has shown me, the hard work is always worth it.
