I am a student. I am an athlete, who believes in working hard and being smart. My older brother was drafted out of high school in the first year players' draft of Major league baseball 2009. My other brother was signed to a scholarship at San Jacinto College for baseball as a catcher. I watched carefully as they trained for their sport and how hard they worked. I have learned from them, my parents and each coach and teacher to not take any opportunity for granted. I am driven to be a leader and to continue to work hard every day to be the best student, catcher, and teammate in the country. The ability to be coachable at all levels and a student of the game with an outstanding, physical development for this game by my piers makes me confident in my high goals in this great game. My passion for academics and athletics is second to none. My family owns Texas Twins Baseball Academy. For the last 10 or more years, I have witnessed the training of many high school and college baseball players. And what it takes to be successful at the college level. For these reasons, I feel I can be an asset to many college programs.
