I've been playing competitively since 10U, with some of the most highly competitive organizations. Throughout the years, I've noticed that it has changed me in a very positive way. With the experiences that I've gained by playing, I realize that I've grown stronger both mentally and physically. I've become a better person and a better player. Being a pitcher allows me to showcase some of my unique personality characteristcs, such as, focus, determination, and perseverance to strive for nothing less than the best. However, that certain drive doesn't only apply to my athleticism, but also to my academics. My approach to softball is the same as my approach to learning and growing academically, which is my ability to continuously stay focused, study hard, and practice my craft. I definitely know how to balance my softball life, social life, and academic life in a very mature manner. With these qualities, I'm sure that one day, I will reach my goal of getting my PhD. Without question, I will definitely be a great choice as not only a candidate, but also as a chosen leader for your team.
