Faith Guidry '21 Recruiting Profile

I have learned a lot about myself and others through playing softball. Ever since I started pitching around age of 9, I have always been over-looked and doubted because of my small frame. I have always been thin and lanky, therefore underestimated. Even in other sports that I have been involved in, I feel I have taken a back seat to the larger girls. This made me more determined to prove myself. Because of this obstacle, I have had to work harder than most to prove myself and gain the confidence of others. I have learned that through hard work and mental toughness, I can compete at any level, in any sport.
