Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to get accepted into a University of which I desire to further my education and athletic abilities in. I aspire to learn new things daily and hopefully be able to turn around one day and do the same for others, I, myself, believe that I am a good candidate for any Universities' team because of my determination and dedication to not only the sport on and off the field, but to the material being taught in the classroom. Over the past couple of years I have really learned how important grades are in not only an athletes life, but just in my life in general. I strive to do my very best in and out of class every day and I am slowly raising my grades each six weeks. I may differ from other recruits by my ability to play a sport with not only the knowledge of the game, but also with the heart to love it as much as I possibly can. Also, in the classroom setting because many athletes now-a-days do not take school very seriously which end up suspending them from their athletic games and punishing them for their failure in class. My passion for the game has made me see school in a whole new perspective and has helped me push myself to better my grades so my academic GPA can rise. There are many different personality traits to describe my characteristics. For example, in the classroom I can often have a short attention span and get off track, but I always bounce back and catch on to the material to gain the knowledge I need to succeed. I am a leader in and outside of the classroom, I will step up whether it be in the classroom or on the playing field. I always speak my mind and do my best to pump my fellow classmates or teammates up. My parents and coaches have taught me how to be respectful no matter what the situation may be, I do my very best to keep a good head and maintain my attitude on and off the field. I am very outgoing and energetic when it comes to doing things I love. I am always up for learning new things as in material for an upcoming test or a new pitch to keep a stable homerun hitter from knocking one out on me. One thing most people remember about me is the smile I keep on my face throughout the entire game or just in general. I try my hardest in everything I do and I push myself to be the best I can be. My goal in life is this: "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I hope to say that I don't have a single bit of talent left, and say, I used everything You gave me."
