Heather Howarth '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been involved with softball since I was 5 years old and began playing competitively at the age of 10. I have pitched my entire softball career but have also developed a love for the infield. Shortly after I began playing competitively I set a goal to play at the collegiate level. I am determined to reach my goal and believe my hard work and “better every day” mentality will help me succeed. As a student athlete I strive for perfection. On the field I help lead by example. I am very coachable which has helped me grow tremendously as an athlete. In the classroom I am a 4.0 student and ranked 1 out of 178 in my class. I aspire to become an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon one day.  The opportunity to play college sports is a once in a lifetime chance but I know I have the  potential to become a collegiate athlete. I am dedicated enough to do whatever it takes to reach the goal that my 12 year old self made.
