Julia Hurwitz '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball for practically my whole life. As I've gotten older, my love for the sport has grown, grown to the extent I cannot imagine not playing this sport in the future. Recently I have been lucky enough to help my high school varsity team win its first district championship in five years and make it to the Regional Semi-Finals. I love the rush of the game and the feeling of improvement during practice. In the classroom, I manage all A's and B's while taking many Honors and AP courses and have a cumulative GPA of 4.157. I am also a member of the Spanish Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Vice President of The Tri-M (Music) Honor Society, and Vice President of my school's Food Pantry. In college and after I hope to obtain a bachelor's degree in Psychology and later pursue graduate school to obtain my master's degree and become a High School or College Counselor.
