Kyra Young '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been passionate about softball since I was 7 years old, dedicating myself to continuously improving my skills and understanding of the game. As a middle infielder, I bring strong defensive instincts, quick reactions, and speed on the bases. I’ve earned Team MVP, the Coaches Award, Offensive Player of the Year, and was named to the All-District Second Team (Dulles) as a shortstop. I also set the stolen base record at Rock Ridge High School. Competing for both my high school and travel teams has taught me the value of teamwork, perseverance, and strategic thinking. My goal is to compete at the collegiate level while continuing to grow as a leader on and off the field.
