Molly Lyon '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Molly Lyon, I am a freshman at Blacksburg High school and will graduate in 2026. Last year as an 8th grader I was selected to play on the JV softball team and started at 3rd base for the 21-22 season. I play for the SWA Lady Hornets 14u Wilson/Creasy travel team. My primary position is 1st base and my secondary is 3rd. I am an extremely hard worker on and off the field, I am a team leader and am always ready to pick my teammates up. I maintain a batting average of .373 and a fielding pct. of .978. As well as softball, academics is highly valued to me as I currently hold a 4.0 GPA and I am a straight A student. I look forward to playing at a collegiate level!
