Michaela Shell '27 Recruiting Profile

Hey Everyone!

My name is Michaela Shell and I'm a sophomore at Dinwiddie High School. I play centerfield for my travel and varsity school ball team. While my primary position is centerfield, I can play wherever you need me too! Well… putting me on the mound might not end well, but I will try my best! Whether if I’m at school or on the field I keep a positive attitude and try my hardest. If I do not understand an assignment or drill, I am not afraid to ask questions or for help. I believe this will make me a better student, ball player, and person. When I was younger I played almost all the sports you could imagine: soccer, basketball, swim, and more. Out of all the sports I tried nothing compared to softball. The feeling you get when you make a great play or hit the ball just right is unlike anything else. I want to be able to feel that for as long as possible. Playing softball, whether it’s travel and school, or possibly the big leagues, would mean the world to me. A quote I live by is “Work hard, be kind, and amazing things will happen.” I believe by living in this quote you can achieve anything.
