Samantha Borrayo '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Samantha Borrayo, but everyone calls me Sammie.  I’ve been playing ball since the age of four and I love the game and always play with passion.  I am an AP student working hard to reach my goals of studying Biology and playing collegiate softball at the highest level.

In the circle, I am a hard throwing RHP that has great movement and accuracy. I have great command of my pitches that result in high number of strikeouts with few walks. As a third basemen, I use my arm (overhand throwing velocity 72 MPH) and aggressive defense to make those tough outs against hard hitters and speedy batters.  I’m always working hard to be a disciplined consistent hard hitter.

My mindset as a player is to continue to work hard, compete, and strive to achieve my goals - FURTHER, FASTER, STRONGER.

Ranked  91 as a Pitcher-Duo and 157th Overall Player by Extra Inning Softball - Class of 2024 (September, 2021).
