My name is Lily Hix, I fell in love with softball in elementary school and have been playing ever since. I mainly play 3rd and 2nd base, but I'm also an all-around utility player. Coaches and teammates know me as a hard-working, determined individual with big dreams, and a great work ethic. You can always find me with a positive attitude and a contagious smile, even when I am faced with obstacles and failures, I always keep my head up. Not only am I successful on the field, but I'm also a very focused student. I maintain an A/B average in all of my classes, I am also a Blue Ridge Virtual Governor's School Alternate student. Besides softball, I stay busy with many other extracurricular activities around school, including FFA (Future Farmers of America), and FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), as well as being a part of the Louisa County Varsity Indoor Track team. I believe that what sets me apart from other athletes is my mindset. My determination and respect for my coaches and teammates have always gained the positive attention of coaches. I enter every situation with an optimistic, ambitious attitude and I'm always ready to step up and be a leader.
