My name is Sammi Gaylord and I am a freshman at Loudoun Valley high school. I am a catcher and also an outfielder. I play multiple sports including volleyball but softball is my passion. For years I have wanted to play collegiate softball and to get there I intend to work both on and off the field as much as possible. I have been playing since first grade and catching for about as long as I have been playing. I love softball and I could not imagine what my life would be without it. My goal in college is to major in either pre-law or psychology and eventually go to law school to become a lawyer. Academics are important to me and I work hard to keep up my grades to reach my own expectations and to fulfil the expectations of the people around me such as coaches and my parents. I have high expectations for myself both on and off the field.
