Casey Stapleton '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Casey and I have been playing team sports since I was 5 years old.  Softball is my favorite, but I have also had the opportunity to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, inline hockey (goalie) and ice hockey (goalie).  I have found that all of the sports have allowed me to strengthen my athletic abilities and keep me sharp on the field.  

Outside of athletics, I am proud to have a GPA of 3.71.  I aim to increase this as my high school years progress.  I am a student at the Humanities Specialty Center located at Hermitage High School in Henrico County Virginia.  I have been in the gifted program since my 5th grade year and I love to learn new things.  Another interest I have is Art.  I have received several awards for my art and photography.   This year I won a Gold and two Silver keys through Scholastic.  

Outside of school I take senior pictures and family pictures as well as design business logos.  I also became a part of the inaugural class of Eagle Scouts in February 2021.  

I consider myself a well rounded person who strives to become better every day by using my talents - whether those talents are athletic, academic or artistic.  My hope is to attend college and play softball while becoming a Graphic Artist/Designer.
