Ruby Hite '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Ruby Hite, a senior at Mecklenburg County High School in Baskerville, Virginia. Formerly known as Bluestone High School in Skipwith, Virginia. After I graduate, I aspire to play college softball and major in Elementary Education. I play travel softball for Chesterfield Havok Fastpitch on the Wells 05 team. I am a right-handed pitcher and outfielder, but I can play anywhere you need me. In the past I have played in any position other than catcher. More recently I have played some first base as well as my other primary positions. I am highly confident that I can get the job done in any position. My team consistently plays in tournaments throughout the fall season as we work to better ourselves and prepare for the spring season. I have been told by many coaches that I am coachable and learn quickly. I enjoy and thrive playing in high pressure situations and am constantly supporting my teammates no matter what.
