Personal Statement
My name is Claire Keyser; I am a junior at Highland School in Warrenton, VA. In this statement, I plan to express my desire and passion for pursuing both my academic and athletic career at the next level.
Over the years, softball has taught me crucial characteristics to hold and express throughout the rest of my life such as integrity, diligence, leadership, and respect, It has motivated me to become the best player and teammate that I can be.
Academics and athletics are both highly valued aspects of my life, which is why I firmly believe that I will contribute to a school’s program both on the field and in the classroom. In my two years of high school, I have taken honors and dual enrollment courses and maintained a high GPA. I am also a member of my school’s National Honor Society and Heath Science Academy. During my two years of playing varsity softball, I have been selected 1st Team All-Region Pitcher x2, 2nd Team All-District Pitcher x2, 2nd Team-All State Pitcher , as well as team captain and MVP.
I am always looking for ways to grow and improve, which is why I am seeking out for a school that will challenge me both academically and athletically.
