Ro'Shaila Williams '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Ro'Shaila Williams, a 2014 IB (International Baccalaureate) Graduate of Gar-field Senior High School.  I am currently maintaining a 3.5 GPA and will graduate with an IB Scholars Diploma.  I am a dedicated, hard-working, student-athlete, who is determined to play collegiate softball after graduating from Gar-Field Senior High School.  I am a 2014 graduate who has been playing softball and basketball since the age of 8.  I excelled through the Eastern Prince Williams County Lassie and Ponytail Leagues by concentrating on self improvement, team building and of course my academic studies. 

My excellent conditioning practices have always allowed me to play dual sports.  I was selected as the only freshman on my high school varsity basketball team.  I received great praise from my coaches and teammates.  Knowing the importance of graduating as a All-Honors IB Graduate with an exceptional GPA, I decided to end my basketball career and direct my entire attention to my first love which is softball.  I am currently a third year varsity starter.  I play first base, outfield and can backfill effectively as a catcher when needed.  My club team is the Manassas Blaze Elite of Manassas, VA; we compete in several showcases and tournaments each year.  

As you can see, I have been conditioned to play at a high level and achieve academic excellence.  I am very interested in playing collegiate softball at a high level.  I am willing to compete and win the opportunity to be a part of a collegiate program.  I can assure you that if you’re looking for the best on and off the field.... I am the player for your team!
