Hi my name is Sammi Johnston. I have been playing softball for 13 years. Softball hasn‘t just giving me something to do on the weekends and week days, it’s given me a group of friends that I will forever keep, memories and experiences I will never forget and a strong connection with something I love to do with a strong passion. When I’m playing it feels like I’m on top of the world it’s the best feeling ever. I feel light on my feet and free. I will graduate in 2024 from Ellensburg High School. I have a positive attitude towards putting the work in and getting better. I’m easy to teach. I will listen to what you say and I will do my best to do it. I give 110% whether I’m in a championship game or just at a hitting practice. I’m very competitive and I don’t like to lose. I will always support my team and encourage them to do their best.  Playing softball at a college level has been my dream ever since I played my first t-ball game and as I’ve gotten older that dream has only become stronger and I would love to make this dream my reality!
