Ruby Lew '26 Recruiting Profile

Through my 11 years of playing softball I have learned a lot about myself as a player, person and leader. Softball has taught me many lessons on and off the field. For example, in school how to handle myself in tough situations. This sport has taught me how to work as a team with people I would not normally get the chance to work with. Softball has also taught me to push myself further than I think I can go.

I am a RHP and I can spot my pitches well. I have a riseball, changeup, and a two-seam that slides across the plate. I am a team leader as I am very loud and work hard to encourage and lead by example. I strive to push myself to get better with every pitch, out, inning, game and tournament.

In the classroom I strive to keep a high GPA and next year I will participate in an aviation course to help start my journey to becoming a pilot. I aspire to attend a college where I can strive for excellence in school on and off the softball diamond.
